Original work. Like other artwork I have done, I like using the contrast between the sapwood and heartwood of hickory wood. Here you will see the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence, Italy centered and framed by the sapwood top and bottom. Hand painted and given a semi-gloss finish.
